The 2018 MARNsalon art program presented visiting critics Tameka Norris, Jeffreen Hayes and Nate Pyper. Each critic provided a critical purview focused on contemporary art and curatorial experimentation for public consideration. New to this year, MARNsalons encompassed an additional residency component, where each visitor hosted at a local art space or non-profit and produced a public program.
The 2018 MARNsalon program was generously funded by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation’s Mary L. Nohl Fund and the Milwaukee Arts Board.
