Jacob Slade
Jacob Slade is an independent singer-songwriter based out of Milwaukee, WI. His music draws on the dreaminess and texture of bedroom pop as well as the honesty and introspection of indie-folk. Jacob has played well-attended shows at venues throughout Wisconsin such as The Backroom at Colectivo, Cactus Club, and High Noon Saloon, sharing the stage with nationally touring acts such as David Wax Museum, The Hails, and Hotel Fiction. Additionally, he has organically grown his Spotify monthly listeners to over 115,000 with the help of placements on Spotify’s Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Folk, Morning Acoustic, and Juniper playlists. Jacob has drawn comparisons to contemporaries in the genre such as Noah Kahan, Richy Mitch & The Coal Miner’s, and Mt. Joy, but continues to pave his own path through genuine andpersonal songwriting.
DJ BRILLA
Hailing from the birthplace of House music, DJ BRILLA embodies the dual personas of a gallery director by day and a dynamic disc jockey by night. With a fervent dedication to music, BRILLA can be spotted digging through the crates of the legendary, Gramaphone Records on a weekly basis. Listeners can expect to hear both international and uniquely Chicago sounds such as R&B, funk, disco, boogie, and house.
Duwayne
Milwaukee born musician and songwriter, Duwayne, combines moving melodies with intricate rhythmic syncopation to create his free form songs. Using a philosophy he coins “Eccentric Esotericism”, Duwayne supplements his instrumental grooves with lyrics that are both ideal for the easy listener and the deep diver. The multi-instrumentalist has also performed as a drummer for other Midwest acts such as “Land Locked Surf Rock” band, Fellow Kinsman.
CatchClayton
CatchClayton is a Milwaukee based vocalist that sets himself apart from his contemporaries with his full, lush harmonies and sweet-sounding vocals. Using influences from artists such as Frank Ocean, D’Angelo, Chris Brown, and many other artists; Clayton has found himself setting into his own, unique sound. Clayton is reinventing the outlook on any imagination of a typical R&B song by using aspects deriving from classical music, including the use of stacked harmonies and adlibs with smooth transitions led by theatrical vocals. His music brings beauty to moments like messy arguments and loneliness, makes you hungry for the moments that foster growth, and make you thirsty for the deep colors it brings to your mind's eye.
