Open Call for MARNmentorship!

We are excited to announce an open call for mentees and mentors to apply to our 2024-2025 MARNmentorship cohort!!

You do NOT need to be a MARN member to apply.

MARNmentorship is a competitive one-year mentorship program offering emerging and transitioning artists the opportunity to partner with local established artists to further their artistic practice while engaging in building a career as a working artist. 

The goal of the MARNmentorship program is to develop a comprehensive mentoring program that leads to the development and growth of mentees in Milwaukee and the expansion of the arts community. This program is open to Milwaukee-based artists from a wide range of experiences/expertise with a focus on developing a diverse cohort of Milwaukee artists. 

This program is open to artists and arts professionals from any creative background including, but not limited to the following: Interdisciplinary, mixed media, painting, printmaking, photography, film/video, fiber arts, performance, installation, drawing, sound, music, art & tech, writing (critical/theory, creative, and poetry), ceramics, movement/dance, comedy, curatorial practices, culinary arts and more.
