Snow 'n Tell:  A Chat with Past 99 Best in Show Winners & Holiday Happy Hour

  • MARN ART + CULTURE HUB 191 North Broadway Milwaukee, WI, 53202 United States (map)

MARN and the United Adworkers are pleased to announce a “Snow 'n Tell:  A Chat with Past 99 Best in Show Winners & Holiday Happy Hour” on Wednesday, December 13 from 6pm- 8pm with doors opening at 5pm.

This event is designed to serve as a unique platform for the creative community to come together, celebrate the holiday season, and glean inspiration from the experiences of past Best in Show winners of United Adworkers’ 99 Awards program. The event aims to foster a sense of camaraderie among creatives, provide a forum for knowledge exchange, and build anticipation for The 99 Awards in February 2024.

Previous winners will host a panel discussion to elaborate on the origins of their campaign ideas—inspiration, research, and the creative process that led to the final concept. They will share strategies for effectively communicating and selling their concepts to clients, including navigating potential challenges and overcoming objections.  Panelists will candidly discuss their expectations for the campaigns and the real-world outcomes, shedding light on both successes and challenges faced in the execution. Panelists will also share tips and insights on how to win creative awards competitions.

All are welcome to attend.  Join us!  Free admission.

Donations to United Adworkers will be encouraged. Follow the contributors on Instagram: @unitedadworkers

About United Adworkers

Founded in 2001, the United Adworkers is a Milwaukee-based organization dedicated to the pursuit of advertising, marketing, and creative excellence throughout the state.

We are a close-knit group of agencies, in-house teams, freelancers, post-production shops, students, and anyone else interested in the fine art of advertising. Our shared vision is to build a productive creative scene that nurtures an environment of inspiration, motivation, and collaborative thinking to elevate the industry and all creative work throughout our region. Locally, we educate future professionals, inform current professionals, and foster community camaraderie.

The 99 is an awards celebration that recognizes the best of the best work produced by Wisconsin agencies during the year. The 99 was carefully and craftily created to be one of the toughest shows of any market. Only 99 pieces of work get in and of those, there are only 12 bronzes, 8 silvers, 5 golds, and a single best of show. The work is juried by national, independent, third-party judges. Additionally, student winners are awarded prizes.
