MARN and Brigata Theater are pleased to announce a second reading of The City of Benedict della Crosse along with two wine socials on Sunday, August 25th from 2 to 6pm at the MARN ART + CULTURE HUB (191 N. Broadway). Doors open at 2pm for a pre-show wine social. Performance begins at 3pm. A second wine social and talkback with the director, actors and playwright follows the performance.
The City of Benedict della Crosse by Gaetano Marangelli and directed by Cody Estle tells the story of an idealistic candidate for Wisconsin State Senate whose campaign for public office leads him to a battle between power and ideals. The reading is open to the public. Donations are accepted.

When his campaign manager publishes a devastating rumor about his opponent, the candidate pulls even in the race. Six days before the election, an ally offers to turn the rumor into reality.
