The Historic Third Ward has earned fourth place in the Best Arts District in the 2022 “USA Today” 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

The award recognizes inspiring art districts that enrich their cities with culture and impressive art.

The Historic Third Ward was established in 1976 and is home to a wide variety of culture and art pieces that define Milwaukee.

The district is famous for the award-winning Third Ward Riverwalk and the nationally praised Milwaukee Public Market.

The Historic Third Ward may not be number one in the U.S, but it is number one in Milwaukee’s Heart.
