Join us for "Mental Health In the Modern World" on Thursday, October 5th, at 6 pm, hosted at the MARN ART + CULTURE HUB. Explore the crucial topic of mental health in today's world, with a focus on its impact in the wake of the 2020 pandemic.

Our event features prominent local Milwaukee artists and influencers who advocate for mental health through their respective fields and share their "Call to Action" for the community.

Guests includes, Mike Taylor- Founder, creative director and 08' NBA draft, Gina Cornejo- Multidisciplinary artist & screen writer and Bisca Rae, Singer- Songwriter. 

Meet our Featured Artists:

Gina Cornejo (she/they): Gina Cornejo is a multidisciplinary artist, proud Americana Peruana, and a Queer identifying creative. With a commitment to unveiling profound honesty, Gina curates intimate autobiographical theatrical performances aimed at collective healing. Their expertise lies in writing, immersive solo performance, and storytelling. Gina spent 17 years in Chicago, contributing her writing, choreography, and theatrical concepts to Teatro Luna, a multiple Jeff Award-winning Latinx/WOC company. Currently navigating the vibrant art scene in Asheville, North Carolina, Gina was selected for the First Draft Residency at Revolve Gallery in 2021, where they debuted their captivating solo show, "when sugar was sugar was sugar," alongside the pandemic-born collaborative short film, "Atmosphere."

Bisca (Anti-pop, Singer-Songwriter): Bisca is a unique voice in the world of music, representing the anti-pop genre as a singer-songwriter.
